Our Operations
Riverland Grown only source our vegetable seeds from reliable suppliers who uphold stringent biosecurity guidelines. Our seed varieties are carefully selected according to their disease resistance, drought tolerance, and germination rate.
Our corn is grown on a rotation across 10 different irrigated sites on our farm totalling approximately 8000 acres. With only 400 of these acres currently being irrigated with both permanent overhead and pivot irrigation, we have plenty of land left to develop. We rotate our sweetcorn crops with cauliflowers, grains and legumes to keep the soil healthy.
We machine harvest, hand select and pack.

WEED,
PEST MANAGEMENT
AND FOOD SAFETY
Riverland Grown are responsible and accountable. We have a fully accredited food safety programme and follow industry best practice to ensure our produce consistently meets the requirements of our customers. We use multiple control methods and we are Fresh Care and we meet HARPS (Harmonised Australian Retailer Produce Scheme) requirements meaning that we are certified to supply to all retail outlets.
Growing for the Future
Riverland Grown are constantly improving our efficiencies and implementing new and beneficial ways of farming such as our irrigation methods and practices, as well as cover crops to improve the health and nutrition of our soils. Soil erosion is controlled on our farms by maintaining the vegetation between cropping land. We continually embrace changes in technology, further enabling consistency in quality and yield across all vegetable crops.
The present family management team of Riverland Grown is a combination of youth and experience. We proactively respond to any big picture opportunities to aid in the expansion of our business. We ensure our practices remain flexible, that we have open lines of communication with our customers and that we are dedicated to the upgrade of our infrastructure.
Riverland Grown values growth by innovation and by leading and creating opportunities not only for our business but also for our staff and their families. We have passion for excellence and quality in everything we do.

Environmental Responsibility
Riverland Grown is committed to sustainable farming practices that protect the environment while delivering high-quality produce to our customers. We recognise that water, soil, air and habitat are fundamental resources for the horticultural industry.
We are working towards a better environment for current and future generations by continually improving the management of our natural resources. We aim to achieve this through continually striving to better understand our local environmental challenges and face these with innovative solutions, strong partnerships and appropriate practice changes.

By adhering to our Environmental Policy, Riverland Grown aims to set an example of environmentally responsible agriculture that contributes to the well-being of future generations.
